Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actress best recognized for her appearances in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance, she has shown her versatility by performing on shows like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. Anna's performance in Assault on Precinct 13 was her first big break. It was however her portrayal of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer, in the documentary film All the Way, which earned her the respect she deserved as an actress. Hind was also acknowledged for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show for a fresh season. Hind has completed filming in the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled for release mid-2019. Her father Krishnaraj worked as an Army scientist who died on the 18th of March, 2017. his mother Vrinda is a homemaker. Aditya Rao who works in the field of merchant navy engineering is her elder sibling. His brother wrote and produced Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mom. Arya Vidya Mandir, Mumbai was the place where her parents moved. Jai Hind College where she studied for an entire year completed her secondary education before enrolling in D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she scored 90% on her H.S.C. exams. In her adolescence, she studied ballet and music for 5 years. Her favorite subject was Zoology. Bachchan took a course in architecture after she won the title of Miss World 1994. The title catapulted her into the world of modeling's fast track. She was offered high-paying jobs with PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also signed a contract as a L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. Bachchan had a popular acting career with her roles in Iruvar (1997 and Aur Pyaar ho Gaya (1997). The two films challenged the traditional form that was prevalent in Bollywood movies at the time, which pushed Bachchan to the forefront of Bollywood's New Bollywood. Bachchan made her a queen of Bollywood with her portrayal of Paro the betrayed lover in Devdas, (2002). Devdas was one of Bollywood's biggest successes. It was also the first movie to be shown at Cannes Film Festival. Her performance was praised by the critics for her role in Chokher Bali (2003) which was a dramatic, ad-hoc drama that was based on the Rabindranath Tag novel. That same year she was also the sole Indian actor on the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan played the role of Bride and Prejudice, a musical and dancing adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. Bachchan was able to bring both her glam power and her beauty to her major English film. Before releasing Provoked:A True Story 2006 in English, she went back to Bollywood to play the lead role as a co-star in Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash success). She got married Abhishek Bachchan, a co-star and daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage was a chance to bring two of India's most prominent personalities together.
